To locate information in a book or set of reference books, use the Index, located at the back of the book or in a separate book.  An Index is a list of topics in alphabetical order.  It will provide the page number or page and volume number for your topic.

Tip: Searching CUNY+PLUS

Time Saving Tip

Search CUNY+PLUS to find the call number and locate a book on the shelf.  The easiest way to seach is in "ALL FIELDS," a keyword search, using two or more terms, joined by the word, "AND."
