Library Policies: Computers, Laptops, iPads and Calculators

The library is not currently loaning laptops.

Students may send an email to:  LHuntley@qcc.cuny.edu (IT Department) to request available laptops.

Currently enrolled QCC students who do not have a library block may borrow a calculator for up to four hours.

The calculators are allowed to leave the library.    

The Library has desktop computers on the second and third floors. 

All desktop computers on the second floor have access to Library resources and Microsoft Office.  Only fourteen desktop computers offer full Internet access. 

All desktop computers on the third floor have access to Library resources, and Microsoft Office. 

There are also three ADA desktop computers with ADA software and full Internet access located in the Library. 

No eating or drinking is allowed near any computer.

For more computers with full Internet access and specialized course-related software, students can use the Academic Computing Center. 

No more than two students may use a computer at the same time.
