Find Media (that you can legally use): Welcome

This guide provides information about copyright and fair use, and perhaps more importantly, provides resources for locating images and music that you are free to use (because the creator has given permission or the material is out of copyright and in the public domain).

You'll also find information about citing your sources (and thus avoiding plagiarism)—which also applies to photos, music, and other media. Whenever you use someone else's ideas, words, images, music, etc. (anything another person created), you must give the other person credit (even in PowerPoint presentations).

Use the tabs above to navigate through the guide.
