In Assessing Global Learning: Matching Good Intentions with Good Practice, AAC&U lays out suggested learning goals for its high impact practice Diversity/Global Learning:
1. To generate new knowledge about global studies.
2. To spur greater civic engagement and social responsibility.
3. To promote deeper knowledge of, debate about, and practice of
democracy.
4. To cultivate intercultural competencies.
