Course Reserves

Course Reserves:

The QCC Library maintains a Reserve Collection which contains textbooks and supplementary readings for courses.  CUNY students with a valid student ID card may borrow Reserves items for up to 2 hours, the items may not be removed from the library. The Course Reserves collection can found on the 2nd Floor of the Library. 

Course Reserve materials are listed in both CUNY catalog (CUNY+) and in OneSearch, each item has a Library of Congress Call Number.  Bring the Call Number with your valid CUNY student ID to the Reserve desk to borrow a textbook or supplementary item.

         

Reference Books

Reference Books

The Reference Book collection can found on the 2nd Floor of the Library.  Reference Books can not be removed from the Library.

Stacks (Lending Collection)

The Stacks (books or materials that students or faculty/staff can borrow) are located on both the second (music, art books and new books) and third (all other subjects) floors of the Library.  CUNY students with a valid student ID card may borrow Stacks items for up to 4 weeks (based on CUNY Policy - http://www.cuny.edu/libraries/policyguide/circulation-policies/cp-colleges.html#qcc).  To extend the loan period, use CUNY+ or OneSearch to renew the book(s).
